What Size Wakeboard

If you’re in the market for a new wakeboard and you you’re wondering what size board you should buy check out our wakeboard size / length chart below.

The size of the wakeboard is based solely on your weight and not your height.  If you are new to wakeboarding you should look at getting a larger size so that you can land easier. A smaller wakeboard means there is less surface area and they are lighter making it harder to land.

Once you’ve found your size range on the weight / length chart you can modify slightly based on your riding style.

If you size down your wakeboard the board will feel somewhat lighter. This will make your riding more aggressive and make tricks like spinning easier to do.

Sizing your wakeboard up a few centimeters will slow your riding down some as the larger board will move slower in the water. The bigger surface area will help you land big tricks as long as you can get used to the added weight of the board while you’re in the air.

Wakeboard Sizing Chart

Up to 85 lbs — 119 cm

Up to 105 lbs — 121 cm

Up to 130 lbs — 130-131 cm

Up to 180 lbs — 134-135 cm

Try out different sizes within your range to see what board feels right to you.
